Future Outlook: Knowledge Management |

AIDMI> The Future Outlook> Knowledge Management
DRR is the major key in AIDMI's agenda and this confirmed importance will not see many changes in the coming year. Therefore, information and trainings will continue being carried out and even increased.
Concerning urban inclusion, AIDMI will continue not only to support CRCs activities but also to strengthen them. It is wanted that its processes of linking with the community level will be extended to a stronger connection with CCISB roles, by identifying which community members will need further support, and by promoting both CCISB tools.
Concerning distance training, session evaluations and community interaction in question-answer sessions have revealed a desire to increase their frequency and scope for participation. In particular, participants have requested that sessions are held in the afternoon as it is more convenient for them, and that schoolteachers should receive training, as they are central to disaster response. AIDMI will endeavour in order to address these requests.
The expansion of school safety and distance learning trainings is planned under the Child's right to safer school: a national campaign.

"AIDMI has been implementing several successful community based programmes which are making a big difference in bridging disaster management and development. The organisation is committed to learning and educating for disaster management and follows its vision in an impressive manner. I believe that any organisation stands to improve its approach by observing and understanding AIDMI's work."
