To provide disaster managers and communities with useful information about disaster preparedness in a concise format, AIDMI publishes the preparedness pocketbook series in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
There are also periodicals, thematic reports, education material and multimedia learning resources published in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
southasiadisasters.net(in English), a monthly effort to turn local tsunami recovery into regional disaster risk reduction for the poor.
A total of 41 issues have been published since June, 2005.
Vipada Nivaran (in Hindi language), a monthly publication on disaster risk reduction for Hindi speaking individuals and organisations across India and South Asia.

Anubhav Pustika Shreni (Experience Learning Series), a series of publications in the Hindi, English or Gujarati language to capture local experience and learning for wider use and recognition.
A total of 42 issues have been published since December, 1999.
AIDMI develop different posters with the emphasize that posters are necessary for disaster mitigation as they reach a wider audience. These posters are dissiminated in the needy areas.
